I had completed this a while ago. Hope it's useful to my colleagues.
I will soon publish some information around how the marking for translation is done, which should also educate some colleagues around how much time-consuming the process it.
If I haven't reported the related information internally yet, I will also specify that according to my contact at the firm we used for ASBS, they should be able to provide translations even with wiki markup in the original text - I am personally very skeptical and am quite sure the final result would end up pretty mangled, but still.
Then, I will close the task because any further work is to be done by the Wikimedia Translations person that Community Relations was planning to hire before CE was dissolved. Whenever that person comes aboard, that's work for them.
Responsibilities as of January 2020
While Trizek stays in charge of the day-by-day, Johan (WMF) will now be responsible for the administrative side of the management, as communicated to the relevant WMF people.

I really appreciate the prompt answers.
Based on my understanding, the only difference between this and the kind of communications that you handle on your own is really how to involve Space in all of this.
